A cute sampler rug on a dark blue field and sky blue corner which was made to showcase how a larger rug might look like.
Sampers like this provide a means by which designs may be passed from one weaver to another or from one generation to the next.Sampers function like a cartoon or graph,is a small pattern rug with enough design that a full-sized example can be woven from it,portion of each major and guard border are shown as well a the field pattern.This samper is in full pile and mint condition.
