74308 vintage Persian Sarouk runner with traditional style, hallway runner 03'09 x 10'03. This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Sarouk carpet runner with traditional style features palmettes, feathers, serrated leaves, roundels and floral motifs on a scarlet red field. Palmettes and flower blossoms are sprinkled throughout the field in a dazzling array in ivory, pale pink, seafoam, blue, and black. The patterns are outlined in such a way that makes them pop against the bright red field, as if to float on the carpet surface. A classic floral border of midnight-black ink blue flanked by geometric guard borders frame this work of art. Elegant and refined, this vintage Persian hallway runner showcases a timeless design suitable for traditional, transitional, or modern interiors. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Iran (Persia).
