This vintage 4x15 Persian Shiraz kilim is a rare extra-long tribal gallery rug—handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960. Further on the Design: This flat weave is made in the panel-weaving technique, which combines two pieces like these into one large piece. The design uses interesting subdued geometry within stripes in a fun way for its era with polychromatic colors in red, green, orange, and other vibrant hues.
