Hand knotted in wool originating from Russia between 1910-1920, this antique Kuba rug enjoys rarity in both the colorway and the tribal geometric pattern among our team’s selections for distinction in the recent collection. The traditional red colorway is complemented both by a warm beige and an uncommon peach pink colorway relegated to highlighting the geometry, particularly the border quarter diamonds and the boteh (paisley, or teardrop) patterns in the field, seldom seen in this pagination with the more popular floral imagery beside them.
