Mid-20th Century Swedish Geometric High Low Knotted Beige Rug Size: 5'4" × 11'0" (164 × 335 cm) A brilliant work of a talented weaver, this vintage rug is everything one could wish for. While it was made using mainly pile weave, the pattern was created using flat-weave. This original solution resulted in a beautiful and symmetrical design, which references the traditional Swedish craft. Soft surface consists of two different patterns - chevron and mini check. Brought together they create an interesting composition, which immediately catches the eye. Incorporating a pastel yellow and gold allowed the weaver to give his creation an inviting aura and very modern look. Together, the color and pattern create a wonderful piece of Swedish weaving art, which will please not only connoisseurs. Thanks to the simplicity of design, this Scandinavian area rug will fit any kind of interior and style, making them look even more special then before.
