This 9x12 custom Swedish Kilim rug design is from the flatweaves in the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug & Kilim. Handwoven in wool, cotton and natural yarns, its design is inspired by Rollakhan and Rya rugs in the Swedish Deco style.
On the design:
Connoisseurs will admire the design with geometric patterns in varied silver/gray and beige-brown tones. Keen eyes for detail will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic.
