About the Item
This custom Kilim design is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s award-winning Scandinavian flat weave collection. Handwoven in wool, its design is a modern take on Swedish Deco and minimalist principles.
Further on the Design:
This design reflects a 2x10 runner in this style, and a notable inspiration from Moroccan rug designs. Keen eyes will further note a subtle high-low element to the silver-gray patterns over sky blue.
Our modern flat weave further enjoys a heavier body with greater durability and buckle resistance. The technique is a hallmark of our style, and a contribution to the minimalist style in mid-century Scandinavian rugs.
