These photos represent a recently sold 8x10 rug from this collection, which is a modern reimagining of Rollakan and Rya rugs in Swedish Deco style. This piece was hand Knotted in wool, silk & jute with a high-and-low texture married to colorful geometric patterns on a blue field. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic.
