What immediately draws the eye to this stunning Aubusson carpet is certainly its rich pattern. The very center is occupied by a diamond with blooming rose in the middle. The diamond is decorated with flowery garlands on the sides and framed by thick borders with similar motif. At the top and bottom part of the rug is a whimsical swirly pattern, accompanied by a depiction of a flower basket. Color palette of this piece includes mostly pastel shades of pink and blue with an addition of burgundy and beige.
