The Espressionismo Floreale rug collection is woven from a luxurious blend of New Zealand wool and vegan silk. The rugs are designed in Los Angeles and made in Portugal using the handtufting technique by Laura Niubó.
Espressionismo Floreale is about the rebirth of life through flowers. Using colors and geometric shapes, each artwork captures one natural reproductive part of a flower in its most abstract form.
The design of each rug is a study of color and composition that generates a sensation of a sinuous, elegant and forceful movement as these flowers own by nature remembering the importance of flora itself. The thoughtful use of color and the high-end materials on each rug design generates a synergy between vibrancy and balance. Their presence enhance any indoor environment, providing a source of delight and aesthetic pleasure for the audience.
Laura Niubó is a Spanish born creative director, designer and artist based in Los Angeles. As a creative director she works for the world's most transformational brands - Apple, Airbnb, Google, Instagram, Louis Vuiton, Netflix - advertising agencies and music artists. As a designer-artist she has exhibited in many galleries around the world as New York, L.A., Miami, Barcelona, London, Milan, Mallorca and Colombia. She has done commissioned artworks for Google and Figma Inc. Niubó's new rug collection has been shown at Alcova for Milan Design Week 2023, the Carpet Diem Show in Paris and the Carpet Design Awards in Germany. The collection has earned recognition from the press and international design awards.

Laura-Niubo
Laura Niubó is a creative director, designer and artist based in Los Angeles. Born in Mallorca, Spain, she has lived and worked in Barcelona, London, Paris and L.A. where she currently resides. As a creative director her projects range from branding, film, photography, experiential design, and global campaigns for some of the world’s most transformational brands - Airbnb, Apple, Google, Instagram, Louis Vuitton, Netflix - advertising agencies and music artists - like Childish Gambino, among others. Laura has actively participated in prestigious industry jury panels: D&AD Awards in London and AD Stars in Korea. Her work is highly regarded and respected in the creative industry, having won numerous awards at renowned shows such as D&AD, Cannes Lions, Graphis, and the Clio Awards. As a designer-artist, Niubó has established her own line of fine art and design artworks. She is represented by Gallery RED in Spain. Her fine art work has been exhibited in many galleries around the world; New York, Miami, Colombia, London, Barcelona, Mallorca and Los Angeles. She has done commissioned artwork for clients like Google and Figma Inc. Recently, she presented her new carpet collection Espressionismo Floreale at Milan Design Week. Laura has built a robust practice centered around the emotional power of color. She places emphasis on creating immersive, conceptual, colorful worlds that encourage people to explore their relationships to themselves, others, and their environments.
