Handwoven in wool, this 12x14 French Antique Aubusson rug features a play of medallion and all over style with floral patterns particularly acanthus motifs, the curvaceous garlands in the stylistic details and a lattice underneath. On the design: Connoisseurs will admire this piece featuring a regal design that arguably represents the pinnacle of this European lineage—particularly in its fine details and elegant sensibility. It’s equally collectible for being a rug like few of this French style and versatile size alike.
