About the Item
nr. 617 - Interesting large kilim from Pirot, a town in south-eastern Serbia 100 km. from the border with Bulgaria and famous for its wool.
It was certainly intended for an important dwelling: house or tent.
The pastel colors are pleasant, the design that usually refers to the Caucasian Garebagh, here is very unusual. the workmanship is accurate.
Deserves a good place. The price is really interesting and the size is almost square.
