A fine wool carpet by Picasso, woven into short pile tapestry. After the painting in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. From the limited edition of 500, manufactured and published by Desso, Netherlands, under the license of Succession Picasso, Paris and Delfotex, Tapiland, Spain. Can be used either as wall decoration or on the floor. 100% pure new wool, marked with label. Pablo Picasso (1881–1973), a Spanish painter and sculptor, was a revolutionary force in 20th-century art. Co-founder of Cubism and pioneer of numerous artistic styles, he defied traditional norms and shattered artistic conventions. From his early Blue and Rose periods to the groundbreaking Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Picasso's work reflects an unparalleled range of innovation. His prolific career produced over 50,000 artworks, including Guernica, a powerful anti-war statement.
