Large Original 1980s Wool Carpet Made by Versace Atelier, Italy
About the Item
A stunning large carpet or rug made by Versace atelier in the 1980s.
It is made in delicate wool and it features the typical Versace design elements like the lions, medusa heads and acanthus leaves.
The soft pastel base colors are combined with gold like yellow ocher. Many different shades were used to give the carpet a three-dimensional look and feel. A wonderful and rare one of a kind object.
