SAN D Circle by Studio HVN Rug
About the Item
Entirely hand-knotted in Nepal by master craftsmen, San D come from the Chinese word for Three Dimensional. Where San means three as each of the designs is compared of three layers. And D represents dimension. When pronounced Di it also refers for the Chinese word for floor: Dimian and carpet: Ditan. This rug features 50% silk and 50% Himalayan wool with 152,000 knot/sqm, a base .05 cm high, and a design .07 cm high. This piece can be customized in dimension, color, composition, shape and pile heights. Antistain treatment available upon request. Please ask the Concierge for details.
