2 ART-DECO MODERNIST ARMCHAIRS by ROBERT MALLET-STEVENS & DARIEL, France 1925

About the Item

A spectacular pair of large -outside or terrasse- armchairs, Modernist, Bauhaus, Constructivist, white lacquered massive wood geometric structures, seatings made in strong fabric rubbers with yellow and white lines, emblematic models by Robert Mallet-Stevens and Pierre Dariel, France 1930. These museum pieces by one of the most emblematic and visionary modernist architects, are in full original conditions. They have an amazing specificity : Theirs sizes and geometry are slightly different as for men (slightly bigger) and women. They initially came with an original oval coffee table, also produced by Dariel, wich is possibly available separately (visible on some pictures). These pieces are coming in their authentic, true, original, rough, patinated, amazing beautiful condition!
