About the Item
With their clean, graphic form, this pair of vintage armchairs offer an impeccably stylish accent. Made in the 20th century, the design is typical of the unique Central European Modern aesthetic—the influence of the Bauhaus school is clearly visible in the functional lines of the steel legs, but the austerity of the minimalist elements is softened and refined. The ergonomic form of the backrest offers comfortable support for the spine and neck; the polished paddles of the wooden armrests add an element of organic warmth. The seat and backrest have been reupholstered in white boucle, lending the sophisticated form a soft and tactile twist.
