Abraham A. Patijn Dutch Beechwood Armchair, 1950s

About the Item

Fabulous 1950's dutch armchair attributed to Abraham A. Patijn, made in the Netherlands. This chair is in solid condition and was recently reupholstered in a nubby woven white fabric. The chair has an impressive beechwood frame with sculptural arms, five fabric-covered buttons and splayed legs. Sturdy and comfortable. Similar to the sculptural Swedish and Danish chairs of the time. Ships from Brooklyn in one day, delivery within NYC or pick-up in Brooklyn. Dimensions: 27"W x 28"D x 35 1/2"H x 16 1/2"SH Time Period/Year: 1950's Condition: Good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. New upholstery. Some scuffs, marks and dings are present on the frame (shown in photos).
