About the Item
Featuring gentle curves and an intricate webbing, the Circo Dining Chair Leather adds a touch of colourful elegance to indoor spaces. A design by Sebastian Herkner, the comfortable and lightweight chair captures Colombia's vibrancy and spirit with its intriguing colour contrast of fine leather webbing and steel frame. Additional seat pads covered with premium fabrics by Nya Nordiska, suitable for indoor use or outdoor use, are available upon request.
Each chair is made in Santa Marta, a city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, by local craftspeople. They weave the leather string around a powder coated tubular steel frame. The weaving technique the artesanos and artesanas use is called Momposino, a traditional method known for intricate patterns.
