About the Item

Stunning, exclusive, luxury pair of contemporary Macassar ebony club lounge large chairs “Gael” , designed by Fermín Verdeguer and produced by Darc, Valencia, Spain, 2002. Upholstered with Roche Boboi Fabric. Internationaly Spanish Designer Fermin Verdeguer, has furnished Private Mansions all around the world. From his studio in an small village, Albal, Valencia, spreas something that is difficult to catalogue. "Is it Art, Is it Architecture, Is it Design: It is Everything". Very short numbered production. Fermín Verdeguer: "Born in Valencia in 1963, he graduated as Interior Designer in 1989 from the School of Art and Crafts in Valencia. Before concluding his studies, he began working as an interior designer until 1996 when he created his own company, VERDEGUER NAVARRO Interior Design, which started from the world of Interior Design and extended to other fields of design (architecture, landscaping, graphic and Industrial Design, ...) expanding its professional team and its international projection. During his career in the world of interior design he likes to create unique, personalized and exclusive pieces for his clients. In 1999 he created, together with his brother, Verdeguer Navarro Collection, dedicated to the design, production and marketing of High End Design furniture, which would later be continued under the DARC brand. He was nominated for the 2010 Boy Awards, made by Interior Design magazine, for his creation Brancusi for DARC. His passion for architecture, sculpture and the plastic arts are reflected in his almost sculptural designs. His taste for natural and noble materials and details, make his creations small works of art unrepeatable and loaded with a semantics of elegance and good taste". “There are times when there seems to be nothing necessarily to say.
