About the Item
Austrian wooden Thonet armchair with Vienna straw, late 1800s
Armchair in wood and Vienna straw. The wooden structure has a round section and has rounded lines that form the elements of the armchair such as the armrests, the legs and the two tapered details behind the backrest. The seat and backrest are elliptical in shape and covered in dark Vienna straw. The armchair is foldable.
Produced by Thonet at the end of the 19th century, it has the logo engraved on the structure.
Good condition, shows light signs of aging.
