Beautiful Pair Of Victorian Carolean Open Armchairs
About the Item
We delight to offer for sale this amazing pair of Victorian Carolean design open armchairs, the cresting rail pierced and carved with foliage over trailing grape vine and spiral turned supports, oval back, seat and arms upholstered in purple leather with stud work, acanthus carved arm terminals on spiral pillars, the seat rail carved with lunettes and foliate decoration, on turned and block supports carved with flower heads united by spiral turned stretchers. Circa 1880
No repairs and no sign of woodworms !
