Dave Hentzel American Craft Solid Walnut Arm Chair, Apprentice to Sam Maloof
About the Item
American-craft hand-carved walnut arm chair designed and fabricated by David Hentzel who was an apprentice to Sam Maloof and worked in his studio for a time. This chair is not a copy of Maloof design but is constructed in the in the same masterful language with its own unique identity. The attention to detail including the ebony wood bungs and sculpted spindles really makes this piece a truly phenomenal and functional work of art.
We have a complementary settee available separately. Hentzel is no longer producing commissioned studio furniture which makes his pieces quite rare.
