Eero Saarinen for Knoll Model 71 IBM Executive Chair
About the Item
A nice example of a Eero Saarinen Model 71 Executive armchair from Knoll International. This particular chair came directly from the IBM offices in the Poughkeepsie, New York campus. Circa 1970. Signed on the bottom with the Knoll International label at 745 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
Structurally sound and sturdy. The royal blue fabric is in good condition with no visible rip, tears or seam separations. Minor cosmetic wear and staining to the fabric around the seat edge and arms. The plating on the legs is in good overall condition. All the vinyl glides seem to be intact. Cushioning is in good condition.
Approximately 23" deep x 26.5" wide x 31" high. The seat height is approximately 17" and the arm is approximately 24".
