Egyptian Revival Cane and Leather Armchair with Sphinx Arms

About

A wonderful armchair with a leather cushion seat that appears to have been recently re-upholstered. The chair made or wood, rattan and fantastic metal Sphinxes as arm supports. This estate was filed almost exclusively with Maitland-Smith or Marge Carson designed furniture. So I assume it must be by them or a company or similar high quality. The reason I believe it has been re-done in leather is that there are hooks for a cushion on the back of the chair when you remove the cushion. This is a very comfortable chair.
