English Yew Wood Windsor Armchair, Late 1st quarter 19th century

About the Item

this lovely yew-wood chair from the 1st half of the 19th century has a shaped back with long vertical spindles on either side of a central back splat, with raised arms above a contoured seat, the seat raised on turned legs that are joined by slender double stretchers, a very comfortable chair that bears the initials of the maker/owner
