About the Item

Galassia armchair designed by Ferdinando Buzzi for Ferruccio Brunati , 70s. Structure in shockproof polystyrene and plastic coating, seat in cowhide leather. A valid testimony of the first trials, shockproof plastic in the field of furniture, this rare armchair produced in the 70s by Ferruccio Brunati and designed by Ferdinando Buzzi are a concrete proof of the success obtained in the experimentation of printed plastic in the field of furniture, which will then be abandoned later to give space to wood as the most used material for seating in the years to come. In 1981, his great competence and talent earned him the cover of the prestigious magazine "Vogue Casa".
