    In 1956, the Danish furniture architect Ib Kofod-Larsen received an assignment from the Swedish furniture maker OPE Möbler (Olof Persons Fåtöljindustri) to design a series of “Danish” furniture in order to breathe life into the dying Swedish furniture industry.
