Stamped by Louis Delanois, Louis XV period set of 4 of large armchairs, circa 1765-1770. A beautiful and rare set of 4 in large armchairs in beechwood with floral carving on its back and front seat. Our armchairs are in good condition and there upholstered with beautiful Italian fabric. They are stamped by Louis Delanois, Louis XV Period of Large Armchairs circa 1765-1770. Measurements: H 36.61 In., W 25.19 In., D 22.44 In, H seat 16.53 In. Louis Delanois: (1731-1792) was a Parisian cabinetmaker, who specialized in seat furniture in the Louis XV and Louis XVI style. Among his famous clients was Madame du Barry, the Earl of Artois brother Louis XV, Philippe Duke of Chartres and the Duc de Condé.The king of Poland and the Duke of Dorset also bought furniture from Louis Delanois. Louis Delanois had a pupil Georges Jacob.
