Mid-Century Danish Teak GM11 Armchair by Svend Aage Eriksen, 1960s. Original vintage GM 11 chair in solid teak and black leather designed by Danish architect Svend Åge Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark in the 1960s. This is a very beautiful, sturdy, sculptural and comfortable chair which makes it a highly sought after model. It is suitable as a desk chair, dining room chair or side chair, and will give that Scandinavian Modern vibe to any room. Often attributed to Erik Kirkegaard as he has designed a similar chair. Good vintage condition with natural patina consistent with age and use like small dents and cracks in the leather. Please see photos.
