Pair of classic easy chairs in elm wood and sheepskin designed by Gösta Jonsson for Jönköping. Sweden 1940s.
Excellent vintage condition, these seats have been reupholstered and refinished. May present unique traces of use and time.
Gösta Jonsson (1902-1958) was a Swedish furniture designer and architect. He was born in Skåne, Sweden, and studied architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. After graduating, he worked as an architect for several years before turning his attention to furniture design.
