About the Item
"A marginal figure in industrial design, Luigi Colani is famous for his futuristic, biomorphic creations of cars, planes, boats and trucks. Although less well known for his contribution to home furnishings, Colani actually created numerous collections of furniture, children's furniture and lighting for a large number of German manufacturers in the late 1960s and 1970s, as well as other domestic products such as pens, televisions, tableware and pianos."
