Napoleon III low squared-back chairs on casters circa 1860-1879. Turned and hand-carved ebonized legs on casters. Newly-covered in white ticking and burlap. Sold together and priced $6,800 for the pair.
Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. Due to regional changes in humidity and climate during shipping, antique wood may shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer may loosen or peel, and painted finishes and gilt may flake and crack.
