Officer's Armchair, Maison Pardon Paris, 19ème

About the Item

Rare officer's armchair signed by Maison Pardon in Paris, France 1820-1830. This armchair, originally used by Napoleon Bonaparte's officers, is made of riveted and welded metal. It has 2 racks, one to adjust the backrest, the other to adjust the footrest. From daybed to armchair, all positions are possible. The publisher's plate is present on the back, "BREV-Pardon Paris, SDDG".
