Italian Midcentury Set of Six Chairs Chiavari
About the Item
Set of six Chiavari model “Gobbetta or Three s” chairs. Sturdy and versatile chair. Particular care was given to ergonomics. The seat was restored by a renowned artisan from the lower Salento region.
The Chiavari chair is an extraordinary invention from 1807, thanks to the great creative genius of Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi.
The chair immediately appeared in all its uniqueness: a very modern, clean and minimalist design, but above all a completely new structure that left everyone astounded by its ability to combine extreme lightness with unparalleled robustness.
For over two centuries, Chiavari chairs have remained a point of reference for architects and designers all over the world.
