Pair 19th century French Louis XIV armchairs ~ Fauteuils with Mohair represent the essence of the form, with gracefully scrolled armrests, legs and stretchers providing stylish support for the generously sized rectangular seats and high squared seatbacks. This type of French armchair has been popular for centuries as it accommodates persons of all sizes. The richly grained old-growth oak has been artfully crafted and embellished with fluting, and features classic French scrolls for understated elegance.
