About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of Antique circa 1900 Scottish bobbin turned carver armchairs with new Oxblood heritage leather seats A very good looking and well made pair, circa 1880-1900, made in English oak with ornately carved bobbins all over which was very much the fashion of the time in Scotland. The seat pads have new heritage oxblood leather upholstery We have checked and secured the frames, cleaned waxed and polished all the timber, they are good to go for the new owners. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
