Please note that if you look very hard you will find a minor flaw on the cane of one arm and we have included a blowup of the location. The finials are actually solid brass that was originally chrome plated and now enjoys a beautiful patination. In France they were listed as follows; GALERIE MAISON ET JARDIN Paire de fauteuils cannés, les montants à l'imitation du bambou, garniturede tissu noir (neuve), les accoudoirs et dossiers agrémentés de quatreboules d'accier chromé (à revisser). Google translation: HOME AND GARDEN GALLERY Pair of cane armchairs, imitation bamboo uprights, trim black fabric (new), the armrests and backrests decorated with four chrome steel balls.
