Pair of French Restoration Upholstered Mahogany Fauteuils
About the Item
Pair of French Restoration mahogany frame upholstered fauteuils. The square back frames support an upholstered panel, and the upholstered seat is framed by mahogany rails on four carved mahogany legs. The arms thrust forward from the upper back rails terminating in ram’s horn scrolls which are mortised to the seat frame above the front leg dies.
