About

A very decorative pair of Louis XVI style oval backed armchairs made in France or Italy during the first part of the 20th century. We like the unusual decorative painted and gilt scheme. We also like the atypical proportion of the chairs. The oval backs are smaller than usual which seems to make the design more graceful. Several matching side chairs also available. These frames are solid and high quality.
