Restored Bauhaus S411 Armchairs by W. H. Gispen for Mücke Melder 1940s, Set of 2

About the Item

Set of two Bauhaus style cantilever S411 armchairs with a lacquered wood and chrome tubular steel frames. Designed in the 1930s by Willem Hendrik Gispen and manufactured by Mücke Melder under Thonet license. The armchairs have been completely restored - lacquered wooden elements, the seats have been upholstered with high-quality fabric. The chrome coating is original and in good condition with a visible patina.
