Sainsbury Library Armchair

About the Item

A very fine Georgian mahogany library armchair of unusually generous proportions. Exceptional features of these chairs include the tapering Greek key decoration to the swags of the arms and the square form legs and the wonderful pierced uniting under stretchers. The upholstery appears formal in appearance but the armchair has a finely sprung seat and back and is feather and cotton filled. Upholstered in the client’s own fabric. Bespoke sizing, design adaptations and finishing available. We are currently working to a 30-36 week lead time.
