Armchair, in leather and oak, Denmark, 1950s.
Refined and elegant armchair. This piece echoes the classical style of the 18th century in combination with Scandinavian Modernism. This side chair consist of a solid oak frame. The back legs are slightly tapered and sloping. The armrests are elegantly curved and show beautiful lines. Seating and back are upholstered in cognac leather secured with furniture-nails, which contribute to the classical character of this chair. The natural leather is in a good condition and shows an admirable overall patina. Some spots and marks create a vibrant surface on the natural leather.
