Set of 4 black chrome and vinyl armchairs attributed to Shirao Kuramata, 1988. . No documentation found but it appears to be his. No certainty at this time. . Close in shape to the so-called "A chair" model found in the Bibliography: Shiro Kuramata, Deyan Sudjic, Phaidon, 2013. . Dimensions : . Height : 64 cm Depth : 57 cm Width : 52 cm Seat Height : 45 cm . Some little scratches/tears on 2 armchair backs which in no way detract from the beauty of these armchairs. Some slight traces of rust on two ends of the armchair back tubes. . Do not hesitate to ask me your questions and ask me for other photos. . Shiro Kuramata is a Japanese designer, born November 29, 1934 in Tokyo and died February 1, 1991. . Giovanni Offerdi ITALIAN, 1927-2007 About his mid-century modern furniture designs, which marry minimalist simplicity with elegance and symmetry, Italian designer Giovanni Offredi once said, "Beauty should not be confused with appearance, for the latter is the superficial part of the form". Born in Milan in 1927, Offredi was not trained as an architect, unlike many of his contemporaries in the first half of the 20th century. He also didn't start designing furniture until later in his career. Its first known pieces of furniture were commissioned by wealthy Milanese families in 1960.
