Set of Four French Mid-19th Century Louis XV Style Giltwood Armchairs
About the Item
An elegant set of four French mid 19th century Louis XV st. giltwood armchairs. Each armchair is raised by beautiful cabriole legs with richly carved acanthus leaves and lovely finely detailed flowers which extend along the scallop shaped apron. Each lovely curved arm displays a most unique shape and a finely carved mottled design. The cushioned back supports display additional finely detailed floral and foliate movements. All original gilt throughout.
