SIT/LIT modular seating system
About the Item
SIT/LIT consists of two stainless steel shoulders, with a chrome finish, horizontally connected to each other by tubular bars also made of steel. The seat and back are made of rubber, a translucent cast material whose consistency was chosen to impart comfort and ergonomics. The outer sides of the seat are covered in marbled salt, artificially created with sea salt and natural pigments.
SIT/LIT is a single armchair but is also a modular seating system, the connection between the modules is entrusted to a ball hinge made of chrome-plated steel, which allows rotation in the horizontal plane of the connected elements, which can thus be arranged either along a straight line or along a curved trajectory.
SIT/LIT is a limited edition collectible fixture, each piece is numbered.
Every seat have a different declination of marbled salt color + neutral white. Marbled salt colors can be customized.
Marbled salts is an innovative handcrafted material created by belgian designer Roxane Lahhidji with a mix of sea salt and natural binders.
Sit/Lit is assembled in Milan, Italy.
