About the Item
Pair of "Cobra" armchairs from the famous Walter & Moretti brand, France, 1970s.
The frame is in aluminium and the seat in fawn-colored leather.
The chairs are signed on the aluminum base.
Their particularly original shape makes them typical of the period, yet with a rare singularity.
About Walter & Moretti: In 1972, brothers Pierre and André Bos founded Walter & Moretti in Toulouse (France), producing a number of lighting fixtures, objects and furniture. A confidential production, a catalog of only thirty or so pieces, known only to the initiated. It reflects an era, a global reflection on the Industrial object. Since 2014, Olivier Oksman, a young interior architect and designer, has been reviving the iconic exclusive brand.
