Syrian Armchair With Inlay Moorish Designs
About the Item
Highly decorated Syrian armchair featuring intricate marquetry hand carved detail and mother of pearl inlay with Moorish or Islamic designs. Beautiful geometric patterns throughout the chair. The arms have turned spindle supports and the legs support a richly decorated seat. The chair was constructed with mixed woods with radiant grain patterns and contrasting colors. Minor losses and old repairs.
