About the Item
An Exquisite Theodore Alexander Throne Chair, circa late 20th Century. Inspired by 17th Century Italian Tuscan and Spanish designs. Features a mahogany frame with high back and contoured crest rail. Acanthus carved arms are scrolled and downswept leading to whimsical figural carved lion heads. The chair is supported by contoured scrolling legs with paw feet. Legs are connected by a matching serpentine H stretcher. The chair is upholstered in leather with nailhead trim. A stately addition to any space.
