About the Item

An Italian painted wood Rococo style armchair from the early 19th century, with carved splat, scrolling arms, cabriole legs and cross stretcher. Born in Venice during the early years of the 19th century, this exquisite painted armchair features a slightly slanted pierced back with carved splat, adorned with a parcel-gilt crest.
